Day 22 in Pokhara by Zowey Gannon

Being at altitude really messes with your sleep pattern, I still can’t sleep through the night and I wake up at 5 every morning. I tried to make the most of it today and be productive (a word not normally associated with Pokhara). I went on a search for a yoga class and found a real gem. Although I was an hour early, I was welcomed by the family into their home to sit and drink tea before PK, our yoga teacher came back from his walk. This beautiful little girl excitedly stood by the window and waited for her dad to come back. It made me miss my dad and the little munchkins back in Athenry ❤

The class was awesome, I had a great view of the lake and it was exactly what I needed to loosen up stiff muscles from the trek. PK is a great teacher, encouraging you to push your limits and laughing with you when your tight muscles give up on you halfway through an asana. I had a great time here, if I was staying in Pokhara any longer I’d be here everyday. 🧘🏻‍♀️

After a full day relaxing around town the crew went to Movie Garden to watch Pulp Fiction with a thunderstorm over the lake in the background.
