Introduction to Hatha Yoga Retreat
Hatha Yoga involves the cleansing of the mind and the body through pre-asanas (warm-ups), sequential flows, pranamya (breathing exercises) and asanas (postures).
Hatha yoga itself can be broken down to “Ha” and “Tha” meaning sun and moon. Hatha yoga actively works to balance these two energies, present in everyone, and when combined with posture alignment, breathing techniques and meditation will help you transform into the most beautiful version of yourself.
“4 nights / 5 days Introduction to Hatha Yoga” is the perfect course for anyone who wants an introductory insight into the philosophies and practices of Hatha Yoga. It’s not only for beginners though, as we also welcome more advanced students who wish to expand their skillset, refresh their understanding or just learn more about Hatha in a beautiful, tranquil setting.
The retreat takes place at our yoga & meditation centre which looks directly out onto Phewa Lake, the Shanti Stupa and framed by lush surrounding wildlife; where you can see parrots, eagles and even monkeys all while learning new poses, meeting new people and reconnecting with the divine within you.
